Managing Email-Sending Limits in Jeeva

When connecting your email account to Jeeva, it’s essential to manage your email-sending behavior effectively. Two key settings, Daily Email Limit and Daily Email Limit Increase, help ensure optimal performance, compliance, and sender reputation. Here’s a detailed explanation of these metrics and why they matter for your outreach campaigns.

What is Daily Email Limit?

The Daily Email Limit determines the maximum number of emails Jeeva can send from your connected inbox per day. This setting is vital for:

  1. Avoiding Provider Restrictions:

    • Most email providers, such as Gmail or Outlook, have sending limits. Setting a daily limit ensures you stay within these boundaries and avoid temporary account suspensions.

  2. Maintaining Sender Reputation:

    • Sending too many emails at once can flag your account as spammy, damaging your sender reputation. A controlled limit keeps your email activity looking natural.

  3. Ensuring Deliverability:

    • A gradual and steady email-sending rate improves the chances of your messages landing in recipients’ inboxes instead of their spam folders.

What is Sending Limit Increase?

The Sending Limit Increase allows Jeeva to gradually raise your email-sending limit by a specific number each day. For example, if you start with a limit of 20 emails per day and set an increase of 1, Jeeva will send 21 emails on the second day, 22 on the third day, and so on.

Why This Matters:

  1. Scalable Growth:

    • Slowly increasing your sending limit allows your email account to build trust with providers, enabling you to scale outreach efforts over time.

  2. Avoiding Sudden Spikes:

    • Abruptly sending a large volume of emails can trigger spam filters. Gradual increases mimic natural behavior and prevent such flags.

  3. Optimized Campaign Performance:

    • By starting small and scaling up, you give your email campaigns time to find the right rhythm, improving deliverability and response rates.

Recommended Setting: Set the Sending Limit Increase to 1 email per day, which is recommended for steady and safe growth.

Note: Setting the Daily Email Sending Limit over 30 is not recommended. Once it reaches 30, the Sending Limit Increase will be disabled automatically.

Why Are These Metrics Important?

Every email account connected to Jeeva needs these settings to:

  • Protect your email sender reputation by adhering to email provider guidelines.

  • Ensure high deliverability rates for your campaigns.

  • Allow safe and scalable growth for your outreach efforts.

  • Prevent your email account from being flagged or suspended for spam-like behavior.

How to Configure These Metrics in Jeeva

  1. Set the Daily Email Sending Limit:

    • Go to the Unibox section on the main tab.

    • Click Unibox Settings and select Account Settings for the appropriate email.

    • Enter the maximum number of emails you want to send per day.

  2. Set the Sending Limit Increase:

    • The Sending Limit Increase is enabled by default, but you can disable it by checking "Disable Automatic Sending Limit Increase."

    • Specify the number of additional emails to add daily (e.g., 1 per day).

Pro Tip: Start with a default daily limit of 5 emails/day and set the Sending Limit Increase to 1 per day, which is recommended for steady and gradual growth.

By understanding and properly configuring these metrics, you’ll ensure that your outreach campaigns are not only effective but also compliant and sustainable. If you have further questions, feel free to check out our Help Center or contact support!
