Connect Your Inbox
Learn how to seamlessly connect your email inbox to Jeeva and start managing and sending emails effortlessly

Welcome to Jeeva! Connecting your email account is the first step to start managing and sending emails effortlessly. Follow this guide to link your inbox and get started.
Getting Started
Step 1: Sign In
When you first sign up for the Jeeva application, you'll notice an orange alert stating:
“You don’t have any mailboxes linked yet. Connect your email account to start managing and sending emails with Jeeva.”
Click the Connect button in the alert.

If you already have an inbox linked and wish to add more, simply go to the ‘Unibox’ section in the main navigation and click on ‘Add New Unibox’ in the left-side menu.

Step 2: Select Your Email Service
You’ll be prompted to choose which type of email inbox you want to link:
Continue with Google or Outlook
Select Continue Google or Outlook.
Choose Your Account: A window will pop up prompting you to select your account.
Authorize and Allow Permissions: Follow the prompts to authorize and grant the necessary permissions to the Jeeva application.
Continue with IMAP
If you choose to connect via IMAP, follow these steps:
Select Continue with IMAP.
Set Up Forwarding & IMAP: You’ll need to configure IMAP access for your email account.
Setting Up IMAP for Google Accounts
Open Gmail on your computer.
Click on the gear icon (⚙️) in the top right corner.
Select All Settings.
Go to the Forwarding and POP/IMAP tab.
Under IMAP access, select Enable IMAP.
Click Save Changes.
Go back to Jeeva and click Yes, IMAP has been enabled


Enable 2-Step Verification
Click Manage your Google Account.
Select the Security tab on the left sidebar.
Scroll down to How you sign in to Google and enable 2-Step Verification.
Go back to Jeeva and click


Create an App Password
Click App Passwords and follow the instructions to generate an App Password for Jeeva.
Go back to Jeeva and click App Password created


Copy the password, go back to Jeeva, confirm that IMAP and 2-step Verification have been enabled, fill in the form on the last page, paste the password in the form and click confirm
Finishing Up
Enter your first and last name, email address, copy paste app password created earlier and click Connect.

After this final step, you will return to the Unibox Settings, where you can view the connection status. A green ‘Connected’ status indicates that the connection was successful, and you are now ready to manage and send emails from the application.

Last Step: Click on Settings and add an Account Signature so all your outreach emails include it.
