Email Body Not Visible When Gmail Filters Are Applied

Overview
In rare cases, when Gmail filters (such as categories or labels) are applied, the email body may not render in the Gmail interface. Since Jeeva’s Chrome Extension depends on the rendered email body to process and enrich content, this can cause the extension to fail in fetching the email data.
Expected Result: The extension should retrieve and process the email body, even under Gmail’s filtered views.
Actual Result: The email body is missing in the UI when filters are active, so the extension cannot extract content.
Root Cause
This is a Gmail rendering limitation. When filters are applied, Gmail occasionally prevents the email body from loading in the DOM. As a result, the extension cannot detect or extract the email.

Solution Steps
Follow these steps to fix the issue:
Open Gmail in Chrome
Ensure Gmail is opened as the first tab in your Chrome browser.
Access Gmail Settings
Click the gear icon in the top-right corner of Gmail.
Select See all settings.
Adjust Reading Pane Settings
Scroll down to “Reading Pane”.
Set the reading pane to Right of inbox.
Re-authenticate the Extension
Log out of the Jeeva Chrome Extension.
Log back in to refresh the connection.

Verification
After applying the fix:
Open Gmail again with filters applied.
Check if the email body now appears consistently.
The Jeeva Chrome Extension should now be able to read and process email content.
