When setting up a campaign in Jeeva AI, Step 3 — Personalization — is where you decide how your outreach will look and feel to prospects. One of the most efficient options here is Template-Based Customization. This feature allows you to use pre-designed templates while automatically inserting personalized details (like the prospect’s name, company, or role), saving you time without sacrificing relevance.

Why Use Template-Based Customization?

• Saves Time: No need to write every message from scratch.

• Personalized at Scale: Templates auto-adjust details for each lead (e.g., prospect’s first name, company).

• Consistency: Ensures your outreach tone, style, and branding remain uniform across campaigns.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Navigate to Step 3: Personalization

After defining your ICP and reviewing product info, you’ll land in the Personalization step.

Select Template-Based Customization from the three available methods:
• AI-Crafted Personalization
• Template-Based Customization (✔ recommended for scalable outreach)
• Tailored DIY Messaging

2. Choose Your Outreach Type

Pick the purpose of your campaign, e.g.:
• Sales Outreach
• Customer Nurture
• Follow-up Campaign
• Webinar Invite
• Feedback Campaign

This helps Jeeva load the right message structure.

3. Customize Your Email Templates

You’ll now see the sequence editor (Email 1, Wait X days, Email 2, etc.).
Here you can:
• Edit Subject Lines & Body: Write or adjust your template text.
• Insert Prospect First Name & Other Details: Use variables like prospect first name, company, job title for auto-fill.
• Add Spintax: Create multiple variations of a phrase or sentence to avoid repetition.
• Use AI Icebreakers: Insert dynamic, context-specific intros for higher engagement.
• Apply Pre-Saved Templates: From the Templates dropdown, select existing email templates.

4. Add Multi-Channel Steps (Optional)

Beyond email, you can enrich your sequence with:
• LinkedIn Connect requests
• LinkedIn InMail follow-ups

Simply click + Add Step → choose the channel → customize your outreach.

5. Save and Preview

Hit Preview Email to see how your template looks with actual lead data.
Ensure placeholders resolve correctly (e.g., “Hi Mike” instead of just “Hi”).
Once satisfied, click Save & Next to move to Step 4 (Schedule Settings).
